It is no secret that the Clark County School District has undergone massive cuts in the past few years. Teachers and staff members have to reach in to their own pockets just to purchase the items that they need to teach in the classrooms. News 3 has partnered with Barrick Gold, in a campaign called One Classroom at a Time.
The goal of the campaign is to help provide a monthly grant of $1,000 to a deserving Clark County school class and help meet the day-to-day needs to educate our students. That is where you come in! If you know of a deserving school in the Clark County School District, you can submit a nomination by filling out the form below. A panel of judges made up of educational professionals in the community, will decide which classroom will receive the monthly grant.
Visit this page each month and click on the video player to the right, to see which classroom received the $1,000 grant! Please fill out the entry form below to nominate a school and maybe your classroom will be the winner!
Tell us below, in 3000 characters or less, why your classroom is a winner!
NOTICE: As per the Official Rules, employees of CCSD and their immediate family members may not submit nominations
